Product Information

Built for the 2021-2026 Ford F-150 Raptor, this FOX Race Series coil-over pair uses FOX's patented internal bypass to control the truck through the whole stroke instead of only at the ends of it. The job: keep the Raptor settled when the terrain gets rough, and let you tune the damping yourself for the weight you carry, the ground you run and how fast you hit it.

Why Upgrade to an Internal Bypass Coil-Over

Per FOX, here is what this coil-over pair changes:

  • The feel of near-endless travel. Oil flows around the piston at some points of the stroke and builds heavy pressure at others, so the shock stays soft where you want compliance and firms up where the truck needs holding up.
  • A ride zone you can dial in. A race-developed shock piston, the internal bypass and Dual Speed Compression adjustment work together, so you fine tune for how the truck is loaded, what you are driving on and how hard you are pushing.
  • Floating through terrain rather than crashing through it, which is what the internal bypass and adjustable compression are there to do.
  • Aluminum bodies, cactus cooler reservoirs and 7/8-inch shafts with redundant seals, all of which the brand says were proven in the harshest environments under the toughest conditions.

Fitment Notes

Fits 2021-2026 Ford F-150 Raptor. Does not fit the F-150 Base, Lightning, Raptor R or Tremor. [VERIFY: title reads 2021.5+, confirm whether early 2021 builds are covered.]

Install and Honest Talk

This is a pair, so it covers one axle and the other axle keeps whatever is on it now. Plan on the truck feeling and looking uneven if the other end is worn or stock. The existing coil-overs on that axle come off and these go on, and the reservoirs need somewhere to live. Read the included instructions before you start.

The honest part: adjustable means it is on you. Dual Speed Compression adjustment only helps if you take the time to set it for your load and your terrain, and a race-developed shock left at the wrong setting will feel wrong. Expect to spend a few sessions tuning before it feels right, and expect to revisit it when the load or the trail changes. What else you need: [VERIFY: which axle this pair fits, mounting hardware in the box, torque specs, reservoir mounting and clearance, alignment after install.]

Buying parts for your Mustang or F-150 should not feel like homework. Too many stores bury you in a giant catalog, slap the same distributor description on every product, and leave you guessing whether it even fits.

We do it the other way. We carry the brands you already trust, we tell you what a part actually does, and we give you the truth about the tradeoffs before you spend a dollar. Drone on that exhaust. Ride quality on those springs. Whether you need a tune. The stuff the big catalogs leave out.
