Flowmaster 2.5 IN(O)/2.5 OUT(O) Super 10 SS Muffler

This is the Flowmaster Super 10 muffler for the 2011-2014 Ford Mustang V6. It is a single chamber 409S stainless muffler with a 2.5 inch inlet and 2.5 inch outlet, built, in Flowmaster's words, for people who want the loudest and most aggressive sound they can find. Flowmaster recommends it for off highway use only, not street driven vehicles, so know that before you click.

Install and Honest Talk

Flowmaster's copy for this part covers the muffler itself and says nothing about the install: no note on whether it clamps or welds in, what comes off the car, or which end of the stock pipe it meets. Plan on the existing muffler coming out and this going in its place, and read the instructions in the box before you cut anything. What else you need: [VERIFY: install steps, clamps or hardware in the box, how many mufflers your car needs, tune requirement.]

The tradeoff is the whole point of the part. Flowmaster says these are so aggressive that they are recommended only for off highway use and not for street driven vehicles. Take that at face value. On a daily driver this is loud in the cabin, loud at cruise on the highway, and loud to the neighbors when you leave in the morning. If you want something you can live with on the commute, this is not it. If you want to be heard at the track or the strip, that is what it is for.

Free US shipping over $99

Orders over $99 ship free by ground to the lower 48 states. Alaska, Hawaii and Canada are not included; shipping to those addresses is calculated at checkout. Some oversize or heavy parts (long-tube exhausts, bumpers, full lift kits) go freight instead of parcel: free to a commercial address with a loading dock, and residential freight delivery carries an additional charge.

When it ships

Parts ship direct from the distributor warehouse that stocks them, so dispatch timing depends on the part, not on a single cutoff. You get a confirmation with tracking as soon as it leaves, and tracking shows the delivery estimate for your address. If a part is backordered we email you an expected availability date.

Missing or damaged items

Report a short shipment or shipping damage within 5 business days of delivery. For a packing error, send us the date or package code printed on the label along with the part number so we can trace it with the warehouse.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
